Aftercare
everything you need to know
Day 1 – Blot the tattooed area down every hour with a damp cotton pad, apply the aftercare balm supplied in your after care kit.
Always ensure the aftercare balm is applied to dry skin
PM – Gently wash the brow area with the anti-bacterial wash supplied in the aftercare kit, pat dry, and apply the balm to dry skin
Day 2 – 3 – AM and PM Gently wash the brow area with the anti-bacterial wash supplied, pat dry, and apply the aftercare balm to dry skin
Day 4 – 14 – Apply the aftercare balm x 3 daily
- Day 1 – Blot down lips with a damp cotton pad every hour, and apply aftercare balm supplied in your aftercare kit
- Day 2 – 14 Apply aftercare balm every hour
- Always keep your lips hydrated with a moisturising balm over the healing period. Do not let them dry out
- If you have been advised to take anti-herpes medication then please continue to include this in your aftercare, applying Zovirax before your aftercare balm
- Drink out of a straw for 5 days to protect the tattoo
- Apply balm when clean your teeth and eat to protect the tattoo
- Immediately after treatment, your permanent makeup will appear darker and bolder
- In 4 – 10 days your permanent makeup will start scabbing and peeling
- After the peeling process is done your permanent makeup will appear lighter
- Between 4 – 6 weeks the colour will have come back through and this is when your 6-week top is required
- Trust the process
- Apply a cool compression to the area to help reduce the swelling
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours
- Avoid exercise, spas, saunas and hot showers for 24 hours
- Avoid products which include
AHA, retinol and vitamin C and oil-based products for 24 hours
- Use Arnica cream to soothe and calm and help with bruising
- Avoid all facial treatments for 2 weeks
- Do not touch or massage the area
- Please keep your head upright for 4 hours
- Do not bend excessively
- Do not rub the area or massage the treated areas as this could cause the product to spread
- Avoid all makeup and products on the treated areas for 24 hours
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours
- No exercise for 24 hours
- No lying on your front
- When washing the skin please avoid the treated areas for 24 hours and pat dry
- Do not have any beauty treatments i.e facials on the skin
- Do not get the treated area wet for 14 days after your treatment
- Avoid hot steamy baths or saunas
- Avoid excessive workouts which cause you to sweat
- Do not apply any cosmetic products or makeup on the treated areas
- Do not pick or scratch any of the scabs let them fall off naturally
- Do not use any products on the skin for 24hrs, only use the aftercare serum supplied to you in your aftercare kit for 48hrs
- Do not use AHA (Glycolic Acid), retinol, Vitamin C Serums, or any alcohol-based toners for 2-3 days after your procedure.
- Do not apply any makeup for 24hrs as this can cause an infection
- Avoid swimming pools, saunas, and situations where you might sweat heavily, including intense workouts at the gym.
- Apply SPF every day
- Avoid direct sun exposure
- Do not use any products on the skin for 24hrs
- Stick to a simple skincare routine. That means using a gentle cleanser, hydrating serum or face oil, and sunscreen every day. Avoid any other treatments or products that could irritate the skin for example AHA’S (Glycolic Acid), retinol, Vitamin C Serums, or any alcohol-based toners for
- Dermaplaning can leave your skin feeling a bit dry and sensitive ensure you apply a hydrating serum or face oil to help nourish and protect the skin.
- Do not apply any makeup for 24hrs as this can cause an infection
- Avoid touching the face for 24hrs
- Avoid swimming pools, saunas, and situations where you might sweat heavily, including intense workouts at the gym for 24hrs
- Apply SPF every day
- Avoid direct sun exposure
- The skin should be kept dry for 24 hours after the treatment and avoid all strenuous exercise and heavy sweating
- Avoid showers, hot steamy baths, saunas, and hot tubs
- Avoid wearing makeup for 24 hours
- After 24 hours stick to a simple skincare routine. That means using a gentle cleanser, hydrating serum or face oil, and sunscreen every day. Avoid any other treatments or products that could irritate the skin for example AHA’S (Glycolic Acid), retinol, Vitamin C Serums, or any alcohol-based toners for

- Skin will start to shed and peel 3- 5 days after treatment always apply a god waterbased moisturiser
