Absolutely, you may book a consultation separately for the treatment day. Many clients are happy to have their full consultation on the day of treatment, but you can also book separately if you feel more comfortable this way to reassure you. When booking as a consultation only please make it clear that it is a consultation only not plus treatment as consultation is a free appointment. Treatment and consultation booked together require a deposit and if not clear it can cause you to lose your deposit.

Please rest assured that during the consultation we will discuss shape and colour choice on the day. We will fully map out the area to be tattooed and show you the pre-draw along with the colour choice. We take many factors into consideration when choosing the colour and work with the Fitzpatrick scale and take into account your natural skin’s undertone. We will not go ahead with tattooing until you are 100 per cent happy with the pre-draw of the tattooed area. We always recommend going a little bit lighter on the initial appointment and going a bit darker on the re-touch appointment if required.

This depends on everyone’s pain threshold as everyone is different it may feel slightly uncomfortable but can ensure you that I use an anaesthetic cream throughout the procedure and ensure you are made to feel comfortable through the whole process. The technique used is very gentle.

Full aftercare is on my website HERE but we will also provide aftercare kits on the day of treatment and will also discuss the aftercare with you on the day to ensure you fully understand the healing period.

There are many factors to be taken into consideration with our long it lasts:

Skin types/oily skin

Sun exposure

Retinol or Vitamin c products

Some facials

Chlorine

With good self-care of the tattoo, it can last anything between 2 and 5 years but please take into consideration of the above factors. I cannot guarantee how long it will last.

Yes, you can still get lip filler or anti-wrinkle treatments, but these must be 4 weeks apart from each other to give it time to settle.

Yes, you do need the re-touch appointment as the treatment is not finished without the re-touch appointment. During the re-touch appointment, we can access the colour, shape, and assess the pigment retention and fill in any gaps that may have been lost over the healing period.

Without the touch-up appointment to complete the treatment your tattoo may fade prematurely.

Re-touch appointments cannot be booked any earlier than 4 weeks and no later than 6 weeks.

Yes, we do take on re-touches from other PMU artists, but we would need you to send photographs through prior to access to see if we can take on the work.

Dermaplaning

Traditionally, this is just an old wives tale, as many patients are frequently concerned that the hair they have grows back both heavier and darker once the dermaplaning has taken place. This isn’t true. If the hair is the same vellus hair, then it will grow back at the same time and texture as prior to the treatment. If there is any terminal hair, then it needs to be removed before the treatment takes place.

We can only perform dermaplaning on the face. We can not perform the procedure on the eyelids.

We can perform dermaplaning roughly every 4-6 weeks for you. It is recommended to get it done frequently for both maintenance purposes and to ensure proper exfoliation.

The dermaplaning process is broken up into a few steps:

  1. The area is cleaned and dried.
  2. The skin is held taut and a blade is used to scrape off dead skin and “peach fuzz”.
  3. The process is completed.

There isn’t any downtime associated with this process. The client should, however, get a proper education about using sunscreen to reduce the risks of hyperpigmentation.

It is perfectly normal to experience redness after the treatment has taken place. If the treatment was followed up by an exfoliating peel, then peeling may occur.
