Everything you need to know

  • Start prepping the lips as soon as your appointment has been booked by using a sugar scrub x2 daily followed by a lip moisturiser this will ensure a softer more supple lip on the day
  • If you have a history of cold sores lip tattooing can trigger an outbreak therefore it is advised to used anti-herpes medication L-Lysine and Zovirax and start taking the medication 7 days prior to your appointment and continue to after for 7 days after this will reduce the risk of an outbreak
  • Dermal Fillers should be 4 weeks prior to any lip blush treatment
  • Lips must not have an active cold sore, be dry, or be cracked in any way as this will cause your appointment to be rescheduled.
  • Any waxing or threading should be carried out 1 week prior
  • If you are having permanent eyeliner treatment then please stop using any lash serums 4 weeks prior to your appointment
  • Please remove all lash extensions prior to your appointment
  • If you have any active sty or eye infection then your appointment will need to be rescheduled
  • If you wear contact lenses then please ensure that these are removed on the day of your appointment and ensure you bring glasses
  • Waxing, threading, and tinting shouldn’t be performed any less than 1 week prior to your appointment
  • Botox should be no less than 2 weeks prior to your appointment
  • If there are any active skin conditions Eczema, dermatitis, or psoriasis then this will involve your appointment being rescheduled
  • Do not use any Retin A or AHA products for 4 weeks prior to your appointment
  • Avoid caffeine, alcohol and any anti-inflammatory i.e ibuprofen before treatment
  • Keep hydrated
  • Make sure you eat prior to your appointment
  • Avoid all caffeine and alcohol 48 hours prior to your appointment
  • Do not take any anti-inflammatory medication 48 hours prior to your appointment
  • Do not stop taking any medication prescribed by your doctor
  • Any chemical skin peels, micro-needling or other intensive facials must be carried out 4 weeks prior to your appointment
